Mr. Charles A. "Tony" McGeorge was the 10th President of Missouri Military Academy.
Mr. McGeorge brings to clients an outstanding professional experience in the business, non-profit and academic sectors. He is also the founder and past president of Mustang Scholars' Foundation, Inc., which provided over a million dollars in college scholarships to underprivileged young men and women of promise.
Before MMA, Mr. McGeorge was Valley Forge Military Academy & College (VFMAC) president in Wayne, Pennsylvania. He served as a member of their Board of Trustees and later Counsel to the Office of the President preceding his presidential election. He is a former president of the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States and served on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools and The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award USA. Mr. McGeorge named as a National Association of Boarding Schools Initiative Top 100 school Head in 2015.
Mr. McGeorge began his business career at Johnson & Johnson. During his tenure there, he helped found two operating companies: McNeil Consumer Products Company (Tylenol) and Johnson & Johnson Health Management, Inc. He was selected as one of the national spokespersons for Johnson & Johnson during the Tylenol poisoning crisis that made business history and became a Harvard Business School case study.
His academic background includes a B.A. in Sino-Soviet History from Boston University and an M.S. in the Dynamics of Organizations from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he holds two certificates from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business, one in Advanced Management and another in Educational Leadership, and a certificate from Harvard Business School & Graduate School of Education in Management and School Leadership.
Mr. McGeorge taught at St. Joseph's University in the Graduate School of Business and was selected to create their Capstone for the Pharmaceutical MBA. He also has taught Strategic Management and Organizational Theory at Eastern University. In addition, Mr. McGeorge is a Guest Lecturer. He has spoken at Immaculata University, University of the Sciences Philadelphia, Ursinus College, The Vertical Club of Philadelphia, Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, and was the Keynote speaker at the Pennsylvania National Guard Leadership Conference among others.
A poet and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Iris N. Spencer Poetry awards at Westchester University Poetry Center, Mr. McGeorge is a recipient of the McKesson Foundation's Neil Harlan Award, PECO's "Hometown Hero," and a Ronald Reagan Gold Medal recipient and Honorary Chairman Business Advisory Council.
